NFCA NATIONAL FASTPITCH COACHES ASSOCIATION
The Indiana State Fastpitch program garnered national recognition for academic exellence in the classroom in 1999. According to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, the Sycamores ranked 19th in team GPA's among all Division I fastpitch programs. A national power in Academic Excellence, the Sycamores have been in the Top 10 three of last five years, including a second-place finish in 1995. The NFCA honors high school and collegiate fastpitch teams for academic success.

LIVE RADIO BROADCASTS
Sycamore softball can be heard live in Terre Haute and around the world on WISU-FM, the official radio station of ISU softball. Selected Sycamore games will be broadcast on the station and can also be accessed through the internet.

Indiana State University, home of the Sycamores, is
located in Terre Haute, IN. The Sycamores complex is
the Eleanor Forsythe St. John Softball Complex, which
opened in the spring of 1989. This softball facility
has two playing fields which are used for both
athletics and intramurals. In 1999, a new electronic
scoreboard and press box were added to the facility.
In addition, there are 2 bullpens, expanded dugouts,
and a batting cage. The north field is the Price
Field, which is where the ISU Sycamores play their
home games. The Conference Tournament was held at the
complex in 1994.
